For the younger children (1st-3rd/4th grades), there is a group called the "Cheerful Chimes" that meets immediately after the Sunday morning service on the third floor. This group, led by Katie Stowell and Julie Perry, teaches children the fundamentals of Bell Choir music, while allowing great community to form. Students are exposed to the ways God is present when we create music, and they have a chance to share this with the church by participating in worship from time to time.
Children in 4th-5th grade and older can join the "Jolly Ringers," a bell choir that also practices immediately after the Sunday morning service on the third floor. This choir, led by Martha Brantigan-Stowell and Lily Stowell, creates a chance for friendship and community, while building on the music education students have. Again, the choir members see how creativity, music, and working together points us to who and what God is. The Jolly Ringers have many opportunities to play in different worship services throughout the year.
