In the UCC, we are proud to be members of a non-doctrinal church and a tradition that celebrates Martin Luther's belief in "the priesthood of all believers."
These beliefs take many different shapes in our congregational life. One of the most important is that we believe good preaching should be a dialogue, not a monologue.
On occasional Sundays after worship in the sanctuary, members of our congregation gather with day's preacher gather to discuss the sermon. In these sessions, we ask questions, agree and disagree, and discover again that God's word grows more clear when we gather together and discuss it.
