June 28-July 1, 6:8 Students serve as Jr. Counselors at Big Adventure (Half) Day Camp
*In addition, the 6:8 students continue to have a Church School time just for them on the 1st and 3rd Sundays of each month. Students start in the sanctuary, then are dismissed with the younger students.

Tue. June 15, 12:00-10:00 pm, Seniors Retreat (for current 12th graders). Afternoon at church: Lunch is served, then we reflect on where we've come from and the next steps of life. Evening in Boston: dinner and surprise activity.
*Jim ran the New Student Retreat at Seattle University for many years, so brings many resources and experiences to this event.

Spring/Summer Event Details
For 6th-8th Graders
6:8 NYC Service and Immersion Trip, May 29-31, Cost $100 (Scholarships available if needed)
6:8 (Jr. Fellowship) once again has a chance to work with the Metro Baptist Church and Rauschenbusch Ministries in the heart of New York City. We will stay in a dormitory in the church and be part of the ministries offered there. As well, we’ll spend time sightseeing and learning more about urban ministries. Money and registration forms are due by Wednesday, April 28.
For 8th-12th Graders
U.C.C. New England Regional Youth Event, Boston University. June 24-27, Only $150
This gathering of youth from all over New England should be a great way to start the summer. There will be seminars for you to choose from, a day of service, and lots of time to be with students your age. Fill out the registration form, call Jim with any questions, and submit the form and the $150 to church by Wed. April 28. (Checks made out to WHCC) Jim will then send all the forms and one check to the Mass. Conference. The remainder of the cost will be covered by the youth budget.
For 6th-12th Graders
Big Adventure (Half) Day Camp, Monday, June 28-Thursday, July 1, 9:00 am – 12:30 pm
We need Middle School and High School Students to serve as counselors and junior counselors for this fun week, as we lead the younger kids of the church through mornings of fun, friends, singing, games, crafts, field trips…and big adventures. There will be fun afternoon and evening adventures for those who help with the camp.
For 9th-12th Graders
Interfaith Youth Initiative, July 11-July 18, Brandeis University
This is a unique experience in youth empowerment, leadership development, interfaith theological education, and peacemaker training. Join students with similar passions and diverse faith backgrounds for a great week. Cost is $750, but the church will work to subsidize $500 of this if you'd like to attend. Fill out the registration form, call Jim with any questions, and submit the form and the $250 to church by Wed. April 28.
